  1. Introduction

This Privacy Notice provides information on how Invera AS "we", "us", and/or "our", process your personal data when you visit our/this website.

The Privacy Notice provides further information on which personal data we process, how we process it, for what purposes and our legal basis. The Privacy Notice also explains what rights you have as a data subject and how you can exercise them.

2. Why and how we process personal data

2.1 Analysis and development

To evaluate, improve and optimize our products and services, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse your use of our services and/or website.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in improving our services and products, see Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

We will retain your personal data as long as necessary in order to achieve the purpose for which they were collected, which period will generally not exceed 14 months.

2.2 Marketing, communication and contact form

Through the contact form on our website, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, and whether you wish to subscribe to our newsletter. This information is stored in Salesforce (CRM) and is used to respond to inquiries and to send newsletters.

The legal basis for processing personal data for direct marketing is consent, unless you’re an existing customer (in which case we base our direct marketing on our legitimate interest). For other forms of marketing, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in marketing our products and services, see Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

We will retain your personal data as long as necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, this period will generally not exceed three years.

3. Who we share personal data with

We may transfer your personal data to our IT service providers that are established outside of the EU/EEA. When third party services providers process your personal data outside of the EU/EEA, such transfer of personal data will either be subject to an EU commission adequacy decision, an EU approved certification mechanism or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can request a copy of the agreement covering the transfer of personal data by sending an email to post@invera-tech.com .

4. Your rights

You have a number of rights in relation to processing of your personal data. If you have any questions or want to enforce your rights, we encourage you to contact us by using the contact information included in the bottom of this privacy notice.

Below, you can see what rights you have at all times:

  • Right to information and access. You have the right to ask us for information about or access to your personal data. There are some exemptions, which means you may not always receive all the information we process.
  • Right to object. You have the right to object to processing of your personal data. This effectively means that you can stop or prevent us from using your personal data. However, it only applies in certain circumstances, and we may not need to stop the processing of your personal data if we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue using your personal data.
  • Right to erasure. You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Right to rectification. You have the right to ask us to rectify personal data you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete personal data you think is incomplete.
  • Right to restriction of processing. You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to withdraw consent. If you have consented to us processing your personal data in order to receive newsletters, you may withdraw this consent at any time. When sending out newsletters, we have arranged it so that you may easily opt out of these types of communications, by including a link to an unsubscription-form in each communication.
  • Right to complaint. If you have any complaints about our processing of your personal data, you may contact the Norwegian Data Protection Agency.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that is stored in your web browser which causes a webpage to recognize the web browser each time. Both the web page and its collaborators may use cookies. The cookies allow us to understand users' behaviour on our website so that we can improve the user experience.
